G-Biosciences' Immobilized Protein A and G are designed for binding the constant domains of immunoglobulin (Ig) molecules

G-Biosciences' Immobilized Protein G is a modified form of Streptococcal group G so that it does not bind to albumin. Protein G is coupled to 4% cross-linked agarose beads by a proprietary coupling method that provides high coupling efficiency for Ig and minimal protein G leaching. The binding capacity of Protein G is >20 mg Human IgG per mL resin.

G-Biosciences' Immobilized Protein A and G Resins are available each as resin alone or supplied in a kit format containing: 5 mL resin, 100 mL Protein A or G Binding/Wash Buffer (0.1 M sodium phosphate, 0.15 M NaCl, pH7.5), 100 mL Protein A or G Elution Buffer (100 mM glycine, pH 3.0), 5 empty 1mL spin columns and 5 empty <5mL gravity flow columns. The buffers are also available separately.

Immobilized Protein A is coupled to 6% highly cross-linked agarose beads by a proprietary coupling method that provides high coupling efficiency for immunoglobulins and minimal protein A leaching. The binding capacity of Protein A is 18-43 mg Human IgG per mL resin.
