The polypropylene/glass prefilter filter (66064-410) incorporate a 1.0 µm borosilicate glass prefilter that permits greater throughput and extends membrane life when used with high particulate content samples.

Use with biological or protein-based samples or HPLC sample prearation. The 4 mm filters can be used for volumes up to 2 ml, the 13 mm filters have an excellent flow rate for use with volumes up to 10 ml, the 25 mm filters can be used for volumes up to 100 ml, and the 30 mm filters for larger volumes. The 0.2 µm pore size filters can be used for 'cold' sterilization.
