About this item
Designed for experiment methods optimization and large volume electroporation
The system also features integrated electrodes that eliminate cross-contamination. Plates allow users to prepare and run an entire set of experiments at once. This approach minimizes sample and waste materials. Multi-Well plates can be electroporated in seconds.
Plate handlers are designed to operate in space-constrained areas such as laminar flow hoods. They feature gold-plated contacts to mate with the electroporation plate and connectors for standard pulse generators. Economical plates require no expensive reagents, provide reliable results, and ensure that experiments progress more quickly. The 25-well plates feature a 5x5 format, while the 96-well plates feature a standard 8x12 format.
Both the HT-100 Advanced Electroporation Plate Handler and the HT-200 Advanced Electroporation Plate Handler offer manual pulse switching technology, and are designed to work with 96-well plates. They are supplied with an adapter to accommodate 25-well plates as well with the ECM® 630 generator (compatible with ECM® 830).
Applications include the transfection of mammalian cells, the transformation of bacteria and yeast, and cDNA library and drug screening. High Throughput Systems offer multi-well electroporation technology for processing multiple samples in seconds. By utilizing HT Multi-Well plates instead of traditional cuvettes, users can transition from a single cuvette to either a 96-well or 25-well electroporation plate through the use of one simple plate handler. Plate handlers enable quick and efficient optimization of electrical and biological parameters associated with any electroporation experiment. Once optimized, samples may be rapidly processed, increasing yields and saving valuable time and money.
