About this item
Acoustic liquid dispensing offers the advantage of pipetting small volumes very precisely and with minimal disturbance without the risk of cross-contamination.
- Polypropylene construction
- RNase-, DNase-, and human DNA-free
- Nonpyrogenic
- Solid bottom design
- Unique well geometry minimizes dead volume
The process involves the transferral of DMSO-containing solutions in the nanoliter to picoliter range from a starting plate into a target plate by means of ultrasound
The standard polypropylene storage plate can be easily sealed and will bind negligible amounts of protein or active substances. This plate features an F-bottom well profile with a solid bottom. The Small Volume™ LoBase cycloolefin plate reduces the volume of liquid necessary for acoustic liquid handling and has a minimal dead volume. It also features a solid bottom. All plates are free of detectable RNase, DNase, human DNA, and pyrogens.
The plates used have a substantial influence on the accuracy of the amount of liquid transferred. Even wall thicknesses and consistent sealing of the microplate bottoms are essential in maintaining the reproducibility of the sample.
