By minimizing the unpredictability of RNA processing, the system provides increased accuracy of intracellular RNA analysis. Tubes contain a proprietary reagent that immediately stabilizes intracellular RNA for three days at 18 to 25°C (64 to 77°F) and five days at 2 to 8°C (35 to 46°F). The ability to standardize the preanalytical process greatly enhances test accuracy and lab efficiency. Tube size is 16x100mm, with a capacity of 2.5 mL. Tubes feature a clear BD Hemogard™ closure and paper label for marking.
