The Opti-Swab® liquid amies transport system is ideal for the collection and transport of aerobic, anaerobic, and fastidious bacteria. It is also suitable for use in bacterial culture, gram staining, rapid tests, automation, and molecular tests when validated by test manufacturers and/or laboratory.

High-performance swab tips are available in three formats. The HydraFlock swab (3317-H) with 100 mm molded breakpoint is designed to accommodate nasopharyngeal (NP) sampling sites. The HydraFlock swab (3316-H) with molded breakpoint is designed to accommodate eye, ear, urogenital, and pediatric sampling sites. The HydraFlock swab (3506-H) with molded breakpoint is designed to accommodate nose, throat, vaginal, rectal, and wound sampling sites.
