Provides rapid and straightforward combustion, simultaneously releasing up to 8 Kcal while oxidizing individual chemical elements for recovery analysis. Manufactured of columbium (niobium) stabilized steel (Carpenter No. 20 Cb-3), the 1108 bomb offers excellent resistance to generated nitric and sulfuric acids. The high strength bronze screw cap slides smoothly without seizing.

Used in Parr® Oxygen Bomb Calorimeters.
