Polypropylene containers for the disposal of needles and syringes

Mailbox-style lids provide an economical horizontal drop to maximize the container volume and can be kept closed when container is not in use. The SharpStar® lid design limits accidental or intentional access to contents, which makes it ideal for pediatric, geriatric, and high risk areas. In addition, the SharpStar® system indicates when container is full. Always-open lids allow quick and easy disposal, especially for larger syringes.

All systems meet or exceed JCAHO, OSHA, and NIOSH/CDC standards and requirements.

Containers lock for final disposal. Both clear and translucent red containers allow for visual monitoring. All containers are autoclavable and include a biohazard label.
