Elution of Rho1D4-tagged protein from matching purification beads.

The Rho1D4 peptide is basically pure Rho1D4-tag. It is used as a compund in the elution buffer of Rho1D4 purification assays to provide a competetive binding partner to the Rho1D4 antibodies on the purification beads. Because the concentration of the Rho1D4 peptide is far greater than the Rho1D4-tagged protein concentration. This leads to the elution of the protein of interest from the Rho1D4 affinity beads.
