The Leica VT1000 S vibrating blade microtome has been designed for special applications associated with sectioning of fresh biological tissues. Due to its unique design, the Leica VT1000 S microtome is also the ideal instrument for sectioning various industrial and plant materials (foams, soft rubbers, various plant parts as for example roots).
