LL-37 is a cleaved antimicrobial residue peptide of hCAP18 (human cationic antimicrobial protein, 18kDa) in the family of cathelicidin. Cathelicidins are predominatly found in the peroxidase negative granules of neutophils. And it has been shows broad antimicrobial activity towards gram negative and gram positive bacteria.
LL-37, K-TAMRA Control Peptide is suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Dot blot, PCA, and other assays. Control peptide should be used at 1.0 µg per 1.0 µl of antiserum in per assay. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
