About this item

TMEM176B (also known as LR8) is a transmembrane protein belongs to the MS4A family of proteins. It may play a role in the process of maturation of dendritic cells. TMEM176B was first discovered in human lung fibroblasts and is associated with human small cell lung carcinoma. Studies suggest that TMEM176B might be involved in cancer and might serve as targets for antiangiogenic therapy of cancer patients .
