About this item
The RHF range of furnaces are ideal for heat treatment applications, often associated with technical ceramics. This range of higher temperature laboratory furnaces feature silicon carbide heating elements located on either side of the chamber and hard wearing refractory brick around the door and hearth, which provides rapid heating and good resistance to abrasion. Safe operation is ensured by a double skin construction providing natural air convection for low outer case temperatures and power to the elements is isolated as soon as the door is opened.
Delivery: Supplied as standard with a type 301 PID digital controller. Alternatively a choice of multi-segment programmers are available. Note furnaces are supplied without plugs and should be hardwired at position of use. RHF14 3 & 8 litre models require 230 V one phase, or can alternatively be supplied to 415 V two phase (of three phase) supply at no additional charge, 15 litre units require 415 V 3 phase supply. RHF15 and RHF16: 3 litre models requires 230 V one phase, or can alternatively be supplied to 415 V 2 phase (of three phase) supply at no additional charge, 8 & 15 litre models require 415V three phase supply.
Caution: Note: Maximum continuous operating temperature should be 100 ˚C below the max. temp. of the model shown above.
