These robust, compact and versatile desiccant bags are supplied with silica gel used for pharmaceutical products and test tubes, as well as for clinical diagnoses and electrical tools.

Minipax® is probably the best known desiccant solution on the market. They are produced from high quality and high performance silica gel and are approved desiccants by the US FDA. Therefore they are recommended for the use in pharmaceuticals, vitamin and food products. At room temperature (18 to 35 °C) and high relative humidity (60 to 100%), silica gel can adsorb about 35% of its own weight in humidity.

In combination with composite aluminium foil, they can reduce the relative humidity inside to below 40%. Minipax® are environmentally friendly, non-toxic and can therefore be disposed of with normal waste.
