All devices feature hardened, durable steel jaws to ensure reproducibility of seal crimp quality. They also feature an adjustable stop to ensure that equal pressure is applied to each crimp. Decapping pliers use a press and wrench action for removing seals from vials. The handles are plastic-coated for operator comfort.
