The volumetric infusion pump Infusomat® Space is one of the basic building blocks of the Space system, designed for acute care adult and pediatric facilities.
- Easy-to-learn, intuitive and user friendly
- 1500 entry drug library available, up to 50 care units and 15 patient profiles possible
- Alarms are audible, clearly visible and differentiated using different tones
- Automatic rate calculation by calculating volume over time
- Automatic bolus reduction triggered by occlusion alarm
- Additional upstream pressure sensor detects upstream occlusions (e.g.: closed roller clamp)
- Data lock on three safety levels (parameters and disposables lockable)
- Clear structured display, excellent readability and LED alarm indicator with clear alarm message in display
The large volume pump allows for flexibility and easy transport within a number of care settings. Thanks to a minimal design and light weight, Space pump can be used to configure customized, tailor-made solutions as individual pumps, small therapy units, or a complex infusion system.
Equipped with an extensive drug library, easy navigation and intuitive interface, this small infusion pump packs state-of-the-art versatility that promotes efficiencies across numerous care settings. This can also be integrated into the data communications network of every advanced hospital operation.
Dose rate mode offers automatic calculation of delivery rate based on the entry of drug concentration in conjunction with the desired dose rate (e.g.: mg/kg/min). Piggyback mode offers the possibility to interrupt the current (primary) infusion temporarily in order to administer a piggyback (secondary) infusion. Device and set-based anti-free flow clamp provides maximum security against free flow when pump door is opened or infusion line removed.
