About this item
These glass bottom culture plates are used in confocal microscope, differential interference contrast microscope, polarized light microscope and phase contrast microscope for cell observation.
- To produce high-resolution microscopic images of cultures
- Non-cytotoxic, non-pyrogenic and sterile
The culture plates are manufactured using high volume, automated procedures to ensure both lot-to-lot reproducibility and cost effective pricing to all users. The first step in this process is to precisely cut an opening in the center of the wells in the culture plates. Next, a clinically non-toxic adhesive is used to attach the high quality technical grade glass cover slip of standard thickness (0.13 - 0.16mm) to the bottom of each well, covering the opening. These cover slips are high quality borosilicate glass of the highest hydrolytic consistency and are well adapted for a broad variety of high resolution microscopy applications.
