These one-way cytology funnels / cytofunnels are used for applying a thin cell layer to a microscope slide by means of centrifugation. The application area for cells has a diameter of about 6 mm (about 28 mm²). We offer both versions: For use with a reusable metal clip, as well as a version with integrated plastic base as a complete immobilising solution, e.g. In infectious samples.

• For use without metal clips in the Shandon CytoSpin® centrifuge as well as in compatible rotors
• Supplied plastic base (instead of metal clip) is a complete solution, for example, for highly infected specimens
• The pre-fabricated filter cards ensure consistent, reliable results, each Zyllologie funnel is also supplied with a lid to close the hopper
• Saves complex decontamination and cleaning of the metal clip or funnel and reduces the risk of contamination or cross-contamination
