Sterilizing cycle is fully automatic, time-controlled and model STM-EX has built-in temperature control which provides 250 °F (121 °C). Model STM-ELX features adjustable temperature control that can be set anywhere from 230 to 250°F (110- 121°C) range.

All models have operating controls that are located at the top, front of the Sterilizer. Pressure is automatically and quickly exhausted and the power supply is shut off at the end of the cycle. Slow exhaust can be selected for sterilizing liquids. All models are manual fill, have a safety valve, low water cut-off and include automatic temperature control.
