Polymeric HPLC phases based on sulphonated spherical PS/DVB resins in different ionic forms for the separation of sugars and organic acids.
- H⁺ form column is suitable for separation of sugars, sugar alcohols and organic acids
- Ca²⁺ form column is suitable for separation of monosaccharides, disaccharides and oligosaccharides
The phases are characterised by an interplay of different separation mechanism (e.g. ion exclusion, ion exchange, size exclusion, ligand exchange) as well as NP and RP chromatography effects.
The eluents in the columns are also recommended for the application:
SUGAR 810 H: 5 mmol/L H₂SO₄
SUGAR 810 Ca: Demineralised H₂O
A ChromCart® guard column cartridge is used for the analytical Valco column with CC column holder 30 mm (MANA721823).
