About this item
CHROMABOND® SiOH is an unmodified silica phase for SPE.
- Weakly acidic silica material
- Very polar phase
- Strong interaction with polar compounds
Recommended for polar substances like aflatoxins, chloramphenicol, pesticides, steroids and vitamins.
The silica phase adsorbs humidity from air. It should be kept well closed and if necessary dried before use.
Due to its high affinity for polar compounds it should not be conditioned with polar (e.g., methanol) or water-containing solvents.
