About this item
These tube furnaces feature a resistance wire heating element wound around a ceramic worktube, forming an integral part of the heating element to ensure excellent thermal uniformity.
- Can be adapted to allow a non-oxidising atmosphere or vacuum, by fitting an additional worktube and end seals, further details available on request
The thermocouple is located in a protected position between the outside of the worktube and heating element, allowing the full worktube diameter to be used.
Delivery: Supplied as standard with a type 301 PID digital temperature controller with single ramp. Alternatively a choice of multi-segment programmers are available. Note that furnaces are supplied without plugs and should be hardwired at position of use. All MTF models require a 230 V single phase supply, CTF models are 230 V single phase or can, alternatively, be supplied with 415 V two phase (of three phase) supply which would be an extra charge.
Caution: Note: Maximum continuous operating temperature should be 100 °C below the max. temp. of the model shown above.
