Grant distribution

The Avantor Foundation distributes approximately 15 grants each year to programs aligned to its mission. In addition, it seeks non-profit partners with programming near Avantor locations to strengthen its connection through volunteer opportunities for Avantor associates.  

The Avantor Foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals. However, nonprofits can submit a one- to two-page letter of intent that contains the following information: 

• Name, address and telephone number of the organization 
• Contact person and title 
• Background information including history and purpose of the charity 
• Purpose, objectives and brief description of the program 
• How the program fits the mission and focus of the Foundation’s program 
• Total funding required and projected resources 
• The amount requested 

Any request over two pages will not be considered. We will notify you if we are interested in receiving a formal grant proposal.
