To measure the 'spot concentrations' of chlorine dioxide with an Accuro® pump. Uses include determination of concentration peaks, personal exposure in the inhalation area, detection of leaks in pipelines or gas installations, air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces. The following values are not displayed:

• 1 ppm Cl₂, 10 ppm H₂S, 1 ppm SO₂
• 10 ppm methyl mercaptan
• 1 ppm bromide is not displayed at a stroke count of n = 10, at n = 30 there is a discoloration of approx. 10 mm

One stroke is equivalent to a volume of 100 ±5 ml of gas passing through the tube.

The standard measuring range is calibrated at 20 °C and 1013 hPa.
