Anti-TLR7 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Genetex

The Toll like receptor (TLR) family in mammal comprises a family of transmembrane proteins characterized by multiple copies of leucine rich repeats in the extracellular domain and IL 1 receptor motif in the cytoplasmic domain. Like its counterparts in Drosophila, TLRs signal through adaptor molecules and could constitute an important and unrecognized component of innate immunity in humans. The TRL family is a phylogenetically conserved mediator of innate immunity that is essential for microbial recognition. TLRs characterized so far activate the MyD88/interleukin 1 receptor-associated kinase (IRAK) signaling pathway. Ten human homologs of TLRs (TLR1 10) have been described. Stimulation of the NFkB signaling pathway by TLR7 suggests that it plays a role in immune response.

Anti-IL6 Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-IL6 Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Genetex

Interleukin 6 (IL6) is a multifunctional 24 kD protein originally discovered in the medium of RNA stimulated fibroblastoid cells. It is upregulated by IL1, TNF, PDGF, IFN beta, TNF alpha, NGF, IL17 and downregulated by glucocorticoids IL4, TGF beta. IL6 appears to be directly involved in the responses that occur after infection and cellular injury, and it may prove to be as important as IL1 and TNF alpha in regulating the acute phase response. IL6 has also been implicated in regulating adipose mass. IL6 is reported to be produced by fibroblasts, activated T cells, activated monocytes or macrophages and endothelial cells. It acts upon a variety of cells including fibroblasts, myeloid progenitor cells, T cells, B cells and hepatocytes. In addition, IL6 appears to interact with IL2 in the proliferation of T lymphocytes. IL6 potentiates the proliferative effect of IL3 on multipotential hematopoietic progenitors.

Anti-FAS Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: ZB4]

Supplier: Genetex

CD95, also known as FAS or APO-1, is a 36 kDa cell surface type I- membrane glycoprotein with an apparent molecular weight of 44 kDa on SDS-PAGE. CD95 is a member of the TNF receptor family, which includes TNFR-1, TNFR-2, CD27, CD30 and CD40. Binding of CD95 Ligand to CD95 or crosslinking of CD95 by anti-CD95 monoclonal antibodies leads to apoptosis of CD95 expressing cells. CD95 belongs to a subgroup of family members that have a death domain (DD) which contains 70 amino acids near the carboxyl-terminal region of the molecule. The binding of adaptor molecules to this DD is responsible for transmitting the death signal for apoptosis. Stimulation of CD95 results in aggregation of its DD, leading to the recruitment of FADD and caspase-8 that together with the receptor form the death-inducing signaling complex (DISC).

Anti-NSF Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 9G7-3]

Supplier: Genetex

N ethylmaleimide sensitive factor (NSF) is an ~83 kDa protein (predicted MW) which was initially isolated based on its ability to restore intercisternal Golgi transport to N ethylmaleimide treated membranes. NSF was subsequently discovered to be involved in a variety of membrane fusion events. NSF is an ATPase with two ATP binding domains that are essential for membrane fusion and homo oligomerization. In order to interact with target membranes, NSF requires another set of soluble proteins called Soluble NSF attachment proteins (SNAPs). NSF has been shown to play a prominent role in synaptic vesicle fusion. Together with synaptotagmin and a SNAP, NSF modulates the interaction of SNAP25, VAMP, and syntaxin, in an ATP dependent manner, to form a complex with a sedimentation coefficient of 20 S. This complex may represent an intermediate involved in synaptic vesicle docking and fusion.

Anti-TBK1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 108A429]

Supplier: Genetex

Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB) is a ubiquitous transcription factor and an essential mediator of gene expression during activation of immune and inflammatory responses. NF-kB mediates the expression of a great variety of genes in response to extracellular stimuli. NF-kB is associated with IkB proteins in the cell cytoplasm, which inhibit NF-kB activity. Phosphorylation of I-kB by IkB kinase (IKK) complex leads to degradation of I-kB and activation of NF-kB. The IKK complex contains IKKa,IKKb, and IKKg. A novel IKK related kinase was recently identified and designated TBK1 (TANK-binding kinase 1), NAK (NF-kB-activating kinase), and T2K. NAK/TBK1 activates IKKb through direct phosphorylation. NAK/TBK1is activated by growth factors and PMA and mediates IKK and NF-kB activation in response to growth factors. NAK/TBK1 functions upstream of NIK and the IKK complex. NAK/TBK1 is also critical in protecting embryonic liver from apoptosis.

Anti-IGF1R Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: alphaIR3]

Supplier: Genetex

There are two kinds of IGF receptors based on their relative affinities for IGFI versus IGFII. The IGFI receptor prefers IGFI over IGFII and weakly binds insulin. IGFI receptor is a disulfide-linked heterotetrameric transmembrane protein consisting of two alpha (130 kD) and two beta (95 kD) subunits. Both the alpha and beta subunits are encoded within a single receptor precursor cDNA. The IGFI receptor is therefore similar in structure to the insulin receptor. The proreceptor polypeptide is proteolytically cleaved and disulfide-linked to yield the mature heterotetrameric receptor. The alpha subunit of the IGFI receptor is extracellular while the beta subunit has an extracellular domain, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain. The IGFI receptor is highly expressed in all cell types and tissues. Essentially all of the biological activities of IGFI and II have been shown to be mediated via the IGFI receptor.

Anti-PRF1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: CE2.10]

Supplier: Genetex

Perforin is one of the major cytolytic proteins of cytolytic granules. One of the main pathways of lymphocyte mediated cytolysis entails the secretion onto target membranes of cytolytic granules contained in cytolytic effector lymphocytes of T-cell or NK-cell type. Perforin is a cytolytic mediator and is stored in and released by cytoplasmic granules. Perforin (PRF) is involved in the killing mediated by cytotoxic lymphocytes which represents an important mechanism in the immune defense against tumors and virus infections. Human PRF is a 555 amino acid protein with a 21 amino acid signal peptide. It has a molecular weight of 70 to 75 kD. PRF is a pore forming protein with a mechanism of transmembrane channel formation similar to C9 and homology between perforin and C9 has been demonstrated at their respective functionally conserved regions. Studies show that perforin is expressed only in killer cell lines and not in helper T lymphocytes or other tumor cells tested.
