Mouse Recombinant ICAM2

Supplier: Prosci

ICAM-2 is a 55-65 kD transmembrane glycoprotein possessing 2 extracellular Ig domains, a single transmembrane domain, and a short 26-amino acid cytoplasmic domain. ICAM-2 is expressed on most leukocytes, and is strongly expressed on vascular endothelial cells. Interactions of ICAM-2 and the integrin receptors mediate cell adhesion in a wide range of lymphocyte, monocyte, natural killer cell, and granulocytewith other cells, and play important roles in many adhesion-dependent immune and inflammation responses, such as T cell aggregation, NK-cell cytotoxicity and migration, lymphocyte recirculation, etc. Serum levels of ICAM-2 correlated significantly with the inflammatory and course sequences of trichinosis in mice and had a similar relation with blood eosinophilia. So, estimation of ICAM-2 serum levels may prove useful in diagnosis of trichinosis recent infections, and in monitoring the prognosis and response to treatment.

Anti-CALCA Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 27A3]

Anti-CALCA Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 27A3]

Supplier: Genetex

Procalcitonin (PCT) is a 116 amino acid residue peptide with molecular weight of about 13 kDa. The amino acid sequence of PCT was firstly described by Moullec et al. in 1984. It belongs to a group of related proteins including calcitonin gene-related peptides I and II, amylin, adrenomodulin and calcitonin (CAPA peptide family). PCT, like other peptides of CAPA family, appears from the common precursor pre-procalcitonin consisting of 141 amino acids by removal of 25 a.a.r. from N-terminus. PCT is produced normally in C-cells of the thyroid glands. It undergoes successive cleavages to form three molecules: N-terminal fragment (55 a.a.r.), calcitonin (32 a.a.r.) and katacalcin (21 a.a.r.). It has been shown that the level of PCT in serum increases significantly during an infection of bacterial origin (Assicot M, et al). Today PCT is considered to be one of the earliest and most specific markers of sepsis. However, several studies revealed that elevated PCT level in human blood could be detected not only in case of sepsis and infection, but also in cases of surgery, polytrauma, heat shock and cardiogenic shock (Meisner M. & Reinhart K). The importance of PCT measurements in combination with cTnT or cTnI during heart transplantation to predict an early graft failure has been proved(Potapov EV., et al).

Anti-PDE1C Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Genetex

Cyclic nucleotides are hydrolyzed and compartmentalized by a family of enzymes called phosphodiesterases. In mammals at least 11 different families of PDEs can be discriminated (PDE1-11) based on their kinetic properties and inhibition to various pharmacological agents. Three different PDE1 genes have been identified (PDE1A, PDE1B, PDE1C). The enzymes of the PDE1A and PDE1B have higher affinity for cGMP than for cAMP, where as, PDE1C has high affinity for both cAMP and cGMP. Calcium-Calmodulin stimulates the activity of each of these enzymes several-fold. The PDE1C gene has been cloned from human, mouse and rat. The PDE1C gene codes a family of proteins (variants) that differ from each other at amino and carboxy termini of the protein. The tissue distribution of PDE1C is different from other PDE1 gene family members. A 5 splice variant of PDE1C2 is found in rat olfactory epithelium and is believed to be involved in olfactory signal transduction. Other PDE1C variants (PDE1C1 and PDE1C2) are found in human heart. The PDE1C enzymes bind both cGMP and cAMP with different affinities.

Supplier: Prosci

T-Cell Surface Glycoprotein CD3 epsilon Chain (CD3 epsilon ) is a single-pass type I membrane protein. CD3 epsilon contains 1 Ig-like (immunoglobulin-like) domain and 1 ITAM domain. CD3 epsilon is a polypeptide encoded by the CD3E gene on chromosome 11 in humans. The T cell receptor-CD3 complex (TCR/CD3 complex) is involved in T-cell development and several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. This complex is critical for T-cell development and function, and represents one of the most complex transmembrane receptors. The T cell receptor-CD3 complex is unique in having ten cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motifs (ITAMs). TCR/CD3 complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways.

Human Recombinant IL33 (from E. coli)

Human Recombinant IL33 (from E. coli)

Supplier: Prosci

Interleukin-33 (IL-33) is a recently identified member of the IL-1 family of cytokines whose other members include IL-1, IL-1Ra and IL-18 (1,2). Its receptor has been shown to be ST2, an IL-1 receptor family member that also acts as a negative regulator of TLR-IL-1R signaling (1,3) and IL-1R accessory protein (IL-1RAcP) (4). Receptor binding of IL-33 activates NF-B and MAP kinases and induces the expression of TH2-associated cytokines such as IL-4, IL-5 and IL-6. Prolonged IL-33 treatment of mice led to the development of eosinophilia, splenomegaly, and severe pathological changes in mucosal organs such as lungs, esophagus and small intestine (2). Recent experiments have shown that IL-33 can also co-localize with heterochromatin and possesses transcriptional repressor activities, indicating that IL-33 may function as both a proinflammatory cytokine and an intracellular nuclear factor with transcriptional regulatory properties (5). This recombinant protein represents the cleaved and presumably activated form of IL-33, but has not been tested in any biological assays.

Human Recombinant Ephrin Type-A Receptor 7 (from Cells)

Supplier: Prosci

Ephrin Type-A Receptor 7 (EPHA7) is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to the Eph family of transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinases. It contains two fibronectin type-III domains, one protein kinase domain and one SAM (sterile alpha motif) domain. EPHA7 is a receptor for members of the ephrin-A family. Eph receptors are largely expressed throughout the ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm of vertebrate embryos. EPHA7 functions as a repulsive guidance molecule during the targeting of retinal axons to the superior colliculus and of neocortical axons to the thalamus. EPHA7 is expressed at a substantial level in most human lung cancers. The high expression of EPHA7 protein may participate in the malignancy transformation, invasion progression and metastasis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma. EPHA7 may involve in smoking related lung carcinogenesis.

Anti-IgG1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-IgG1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

Camelids produce functional IgG isotypes that do not incorporate light chains. Comparative studies of old world camelids (Camelus bactrianus and Camelus dromedarius) and new world camelids (Lama pacos, Lama glama and Lama vicugna) have shown that heavy-chain-only immunoglobulins represent between 35% - 70% of total IgG in the sera of all species. At present, three subclasses of camelid IgG have been identified (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3), of which IgG2 and IgG3 lack the light chains. IgG1 binds strongly to protein A and G, is composed of conventional antibodies, and totals 25 % of serum IgG. Llama IgG1 antibodies migrate as a 150-kDa protein in SDS-polyacrylamide gel under non-reducing conditions. Under reducing conditions, IgG1 antibodies split into four proteins (two of each H- and L-chains), which gives protein bands of about 52-55 kDa (H-chain) and about 27 kDa (L-chain). Anti-Llama IgG1 generated in rabbit detects specifically the Llama IgG1 isotype. This anti-Llama secondary Antibody is suitable for western blot, ELISA, ChIP and immunohistochemistry as well as other more general immunoassays.
