À propos de cet article

Nanopore sequencing flow cells for use with MinION™ and GridION™ devices.

Flow cells contain the proprietary sensor array, application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), and nanopores for DNA/RNA sequencing on MinION™ and GridION™ devices.

R10.4.1 flow cells contain a double reader-head and are suitable for experiments where high consensus accuracy is required. Compatible with Kit 14 chemistry, R10.4.1 flow cells generate data at a modal accuracy above 99%.

RNA flow cells are designed to sequence native RNA with improved consensus accuracy and output. These flow cells are compatible with the latest generation of Direct RNA Sequencing Kit (SQK-RNA004).

Note: please carefully check flow cell and sequencing kit compatibility prior to ordering. Flow cell compatibility is provided on each individual sequencing kit page.

Flow cells are available in single and 12-pack formats to suit your sample throughput requirements.

How flow cells work: Simply add your prepared sequencing library to the flow cell and start the sequencing experiment. Data is accumulated over time as DNA or RNA is sequenced by the nanopores. Individual read files are generated and are immediately available for analysis.

As data is streamed in real time, you can choose to stop a run as soon as sufficient data is gathered. A flow cell contains sufficient buffer to run for ~72 hours (under optimal conditions) and you can choose to run continuously or run, stop, wash, and load a new sample until the buffer and nanopores are exhausted.

Flow cells can be recycled through Oxford Nanopore Technologies.

Delivery information:

Flow cells and kits are shipped together at 2 to 8 °C. The packaging is designed to protect the flow cells from freezing. R10.4.1 and RNA Flow Cells can be stored unopened at 2 to 8 °C for 12 weeks.

Packaging:

Flow cells are shipped in a sealed pouch. This packaging also serves as the flow cell returns kit. Flow cell 12 packs are packaged in a single pouch containing all 12 flow cells. Users are requested to return their flow cells after use so that they can be responsibly recycled by Oxford Nanopore Technologies.
