  • Reduces down time and cleaning expenses

As part of a single-use system, these CPC® sanitary Steam-in-Place disposable connectors enhance the sterility of your bioprocessing line. The innovative product design allows for a one-step process for sterilization and media transfer while eliminating dead spots, reducing the number of connections, and eliminating the need for a laminar flow hood. Terminations on these connectors are set to industry standards for bio-reactors and popular sizes of flexible tubing. All wetted surfaces meet requirements for USP Class VI, and physicochemical tests. All units are made of animal-free polysulfone resin.

These steam-in-place connectors offer "Steam On" and "Steam Off" functionality by allowing the valve to return to the steam position and enabling a second steam cycle after media transfer. The "steam off" disconnection of disposable systems minimizes the risk of cross-contamination caused by reusable system components.

The two-cycle steam-thru connectors offer the additional benefit of both “steam on” and “steam off” functionality. The valve can return to the steam position to allow a second steam cycle after media transfer.
