A propos de cet article

The Flongle Adapter allows MinION devices to run smaller, single-use Flongle Flow Cells, generating up to 2.8 Gb* of data per flow cell. Users can simply insert a Flongle Flow Cell into the Flongle Adapter, run their experiment on their MinION device and then discard the Flongle Flow Cell and replace it with another.

How flow cells work: The user adds their prepared library to the flow cell and starts their sequencing experiment. Data is accumulated over time as DNA is sequenced by the nanopores. Individual read files are generated and are immediately available for analysis.

As data is streamed in real-time, a user can choose to stop a run as soon as sufficient data is gathered. A flow cell contains sufficient buffer to run for ~24 hours (under optimal conditions).

Flongle R10.4.1 Flow Cells are compatible with a selection of v14 chemistry kits, which offer the highest sequencing accuracies. Flongle R10.4.1 Flow Cells have been tested with the following kits: Ligation Sequencing Kit V14 (SQK-LSK114), Rapid Sequencing Kit V14 (SQK-RAD114), Rapid Barcoding Kit 24 V14 (SQK-RBK114.24), Rapid Barcoding Kit 96 V14 (SQK-RBK114.96).

Flongle R9.4.1 Flow Cells have been tested with the following sequencing kits: Ligation Sequencing Kit (SQK-LSK110), Ligation Sequencing Kit (SQK-LSK109), Rapid Sequencing Kit (SQK-RAD004), Rapid Barcoding Kit (SQK-RBK004), Rapid Barcoding Kit 96 (SQK-RBK110.96), 16S Barcoding Kit 1-24 (SQK-16S024), Native Barcoding Expansion 1-12 (EXP-NBD104), Native Barcoding Expansion 13-24 (EXP-NBD114). Note: Please check the discontinuation dates for R9.4.1 compatible kits on the individual kit pages. We recommend using R10.4.1 Flow Cells and V14 chemistry kits where possible.

Theoretical max output (TMO). Assumes system is run for 16 hours at 420 bases/second. Actual output varies according to library type, run conditions, etc. TMO noted may not be available for all applications or all chemistries.

Delivery: The Flongle Adapter is stored and shipped at ambient temperature (15 to 25 °C).
