Carboys are well suited for use in temperatures ranging from -100 to 100 °C (-148 to 212 °F). Carboys are leak-proof on standard test conditions. Spigots are tied to the handle, and require assembly by hand for usage. No tools are necessary for assembly.
Polypropylene carboys can be autoclaved before refilling to stop recurring bacterial growth. LDPE and HDPE carboys are not autoclavable.
Certifications: Resin meets US FDA 21 CFR, USP Class VI.
Ordering information: Spigot included. Always disassemble spigot and cap from carboy before autoclaving.
