SFCA syringe filters have a blue housing ring

CA membranes have some protein binding and extractables, making them more suitable for clarification of buffers, aqueous solutions and reagents. CA syringe filters have a red housing ring. All housings are polypropylene with female Luer-Lok®inlet and male Luer slip outlet.

SFCA membranes are low protein binding and have lower extractables than standard CA so SFCA is a good choice for cell culture fluids and cellular solutions.

Packaging: Sterile filters are individually blister-packed. Non-sterile filters are bulk packed in zip closure bags.
