AccuBlue® and AccuClear® dsDNA quantitation assays allow precise quantitation of purified dsDNA samples across a wide range of concentrations and a variety of fluorescence detection instruments. Unlike absorbance-based nucleic acid quantitation, fluorescent DNA binding dyes are highly sensitive and selective for double-stranded DNA and provide a more accurate DNA concentration in the presence of contaminating RNA and other common contaminants including free nucleotides, protein, detergents and salts. AccuBlue® Broad Range Assay provides a wide dynamic range of 2 to 2000 ng per well of a 96 well plate (0.2 to 200 ng/µl of sample). The standard curve can be extended to 4000 ng/well with slight compromise in linearity. Excitation/emission wavelengths: 350/460 nm.

AccuBlue® High-sensitivity Assay has a linear range of 0.2 to 100 ng dsDNA per well of a 96 well plate (0.02 to 10 ng/µl of sample). Excitation/emission wavelengths: 500/530 nm. The dye is non-toxic and non-mutagentic for safe handling and easy disposal.

AccuClear® Ultra High Sensitivity Assay is extremely versatile, with a very broad dynamic range 30 pg to 250 ng dsDNA per well of a 96-well plate, allowing quantitation of nearly any sample. Excitation/emission wavelengths: 468/507 nm.

AccuBlue® NextGen Assay is the most sensitive DNA quantitation assay on the market, allowing accurate detection of 1 pg of DNA (depends on the sensitivity of the instrument), and rivaling PicoGreen® in sensitivity and accuracy.
