CoverGrip™ Coverslip Sealant is an organic adhesive medium formulated specifically for sealing the edges of wet-mounted coverslips. Unlike nail polish, CoverGrip™ does not contain alcohol, which can diffuse into aqueous mounting medium and affect sample fluorescence. CoverGrip™ is made with limonene, a pleasant-smelling natural hydrocarbon made from citrus peels that is more environmentally friendly and less toxic than other organic solvents. CoverGrip™ is supplied in a 15 mL brush cap bottle for ease of application, or in 100 mL dropper-top refill bottles.
EverBrite™ Mounting Media prevent rapid photobleaching of fluorescein, rhodamine, and cyanine based dyes and are optimally formulated for use with Biotum’s CF™ dye conjugates. Unlike Vectashield®, EverBrite™ mounting media is compatible with Cy® dyes such as Cy®2, Cy®3, and Cy®5.
