The entire macro™ pipette controller can be autoclaved at 121 °C (250 °F) for decontamination. The entire instrument can be disassembled for cleaning and the replacement of soiled filters or other parts.

Simply squeeze the suction bellows, which is sufficient for volumes up to 50 ml. Deflect the pipetting lever upward to aspirate, or downward to dispense. The further the deflection, the faster the aspiration and dispensing speeds. A new spring loaded pipetting lever allows even greater control with small volume pipettes. The proprietary 3 µm filter allows proper drain times for pipetting of Class A glassware, and helps prevent aqueous liquid penetration. A convenient blow out bulb allows accurate use of 'To Contain' pipettes. The suction bellows has been redesigned for even easier operation.
