The sterilizing methods for this tubing are conventional autoclaving (steam 30 min at 15 psi, 121 °C) and Ethylene Oxide.

Tygon S3™ Formulation E-3603 tubing is non-oxidizing, non-contaminating, and less permeable than rubber tubing. The glassy smooth inner bore helps prevent build-up and facilitates cleaning. Coils are also marked at 30.5 cm (1') intervals for easy measuring. It is specially formulated for resistance to flex-fatigue and abrasion.
