PFA bottles are made with virgin, high-purity Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) resin and manufactured by a proprietary stretch blow molding process, adapted for fluoropolymer use by Savillex.

The accessory PFA GL45 Transfer Closure is designed for use with PFA or FEP bottles sized 100 to 2000 ml. The closure features two ¼" tube ports (one top and one side) and includes ¼" ferrule nuts. It can be used to connect bottles to the Savillex Acid Purification System, or for other liquid transfer applications.

PFA bottles include a matching PFA closure, and are manufactured and individually poly-bagged in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom. The molding process produces a bottle without burrs or flashing, and results in a leak-proof seal without the need for secondary sealing plugs or liners. PFA bottles have a lower trace metal background, smoother surface finish, easier pouring, superior sealing properties, and can be repeatedly autoclaved. PFA bottles are excellent for storing high-purity chemicals and other high value materials.
