Designed for use with 96-Well thermal cyclers, Thin-Wall Micro Reaction Tubes and Strip Caps prevent cross-contamination and provide a secure seal for oil-free thermal cycling

Recommended maximum volume for thermal cycling amplifications is 100 µl. Maximum fill volume for post-thermal cycling reagent additions to permit mixing is 200 µl. Tubes and strip caps are supplied nonsterile, and are autoclavable at 121 °C (250 °F), 15psi, for fifteen minutes. Both strip tubes and strip caps may be easily cut. Individual 0.2 ml tubes require an 8 or 12 strip cap to seal each tube individually.

Tubes provide optimal contact with the sample block, thus ensuring optimal heat transfer. Tubes are fabricated from virgin polypropylene and feature a highly polished inner surface to allow for maximum sample recovery.
