7000 Series syringes feature a unique modified Microliter™ design based on the dead volume-free principle of positive displacement
Syringe Termination: A knurled hub is used exclusively on 7000 Series syringes. The hub handles up to 6000psig maximum injection pressure. The needle is removable, but with a limited number of gauges available because the plunger is fitted inside the needle. Autoclavable when disassembled. Gas sterilizable. Repeated autoclaving will shorten syringe life.
Needle Point Styles:
Point style 2 is a sharp, beveled, curved, non-coring needle point recommended for septum penetration.
Point style 3 is a blunt needle point for use with HPLC injection valves and for sample pipetting.
A fine tungsten wire plunger extends through the whole length of the syringe through to the needle end. Ideal for dispensing volumes from 0.05μL up to 5μL. Fluid path includes SST and tungsten.
