Horizontal systems for detailed RNA/DNA analysis deliver consistent, quality results

A1 Model Systems feature a small footprint, conserving bench space. A2 Model Systems are wider than the A1 models, and can run up to 42 samples per comb position. They accomplish gel runs in 1–4 hours. A1 and A2 models are available with or without buffer exchange ports. A3 Model System is an extra-long apparatus designed especially for screening a large number of samples. The UVT gel tray for this system has multiple comb slots for more flexibility in comb placement. Gel tray fits 25- and 50-tooth microtiter format combs for fast sample loading with a multichannel pipet. System is ideal for field reversal electrophoresis and RFLP analysis. Buffer exchange ports are standard with this model. It accomplishes gel runs in 1–6 hours.

Constructed of heavy-duty acrylic for heavy workloads. The UV transmissible (UVT) gel tray allows bands to be viewed on a transilluminator without the risk of tearing the gel during handling. Comb slots on the UVT tray are positioned so that up to four samples can be set to run equal lengths on the same gel. Leak-resistant gasketed end gates provide tape-free casting of agarose gels directly in the gel tray. Three-point leveling ensures flat, even gels. Platinum electrodes and gold-plated banana plugs are corrosion-protected. The SuperSafe™ safety lid eliminates the risk of accidental shock, and an attached 0.91m (3') long power cord enhances safety. Voltage requirements for all models is 20–250V.
