This globe simulates the Earth’s daily rotation and seasonal changes within a six minute cycle using its internal illumination. The appearance of Earth floating in space is created by a special smoked plexiglass cover giving an unmatched 3-dimensional perspective. This format answers many questions, such as why are there seasons and how does sunlight really change during the year? The globe is 16" in diameter and comes with a multi-setting controller and plexiglass cover. Minimal assembly with common hand tools is required.
