A fun and educational introduction to criminalistics.
- Grades 7-14
- Multiple methods for detecting latent prints
Your students will answer the question “Whodunit?” while learning how to dust and develop latent fingerprints. They “lift” sets of prints from various surfaces, turning them over for others to analyze. After comparing the prints to standards developed by the FBI, and working with “Modus Operandi” worksheets, the class will identify the suspects. The kit includes instructor’s and assessment guides, student data sheets, and all materials but the fingerprints for 24 students.
