Multiple dissectible parts allow for close-up, hands-on examination. A detachable lower-jaw half is complete with teeth, mastication muscles, and salivary glands while the dissected pancreas exposes both the pancreatic and common bile ducts. The duodenum is sectioned to reveal hepatopancreatic ampulla and the accessory pancreatic duct entrance, and the terminal portion of the ileum and cecum shows the ileocecal valve and vermiform appendix orifice.

A section through the rectum, anal canal, and anus also reveals the anal columns and sphincter. The model is mounted on a hardwood base, and all features are number coded for identification in an accompanying key.
