Glass stopcocks are the best selection for use with acid solutions, where stopcock grease can be applied. When properly greased, glass stopcocks provide excellent leak-free service. The PTFE stopcocks are for use with alkaline solutions to avoid "freezing."

Burets feature a durable white ceramic enamel graduation scale. Squeezable bottles are made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE). Bottles include a detachable base stand for stability. Squeezing the bottle forces the titrant into the buret. The overfill returns to the bottle when the pressure is released.
