About this item
For use on Luer and Luer-lock syringes.
This point style is recommended for most applications requiring the puncturing of a septum. Needle is cut at a 22° bevel with the tip of the needle slightly bent, partially obstructing the orifice, to prevent septum coring.
An “S” after needle gauge denotes a small bore. A needle with a small bore carries less dead volume than a standard bore, and has a thicker wall which can be an advantage in piercing septa.
