Plates are SBS-formatted, alphanumerically labeled, stackable, and fully compatible with most standard plate readers and washers. Notched corners facilitate orientation in automated liquid handling systems. Raised rings around wells assist sealing with adhesive films and mats and reduce cross-contamination between wells. Nonsterile polypropylene plates are autoclavable and resistant to a wide variety of chemicals, including phenols, chloroform, and DMSO.
