The screw connections with two hose connections have been specially developed for the connection of soft elastic tubing (6 to 9 mm), such as tubings used in biotechnology when transferring media with the aid of peristaltic pumps. The basis of the connection system for DURAN® laboratory glass bottles are screw caps with GL 45 threads and two hose connection type outlets.

GL 45 screw caps has two PP hose connections, curved hose connections on the top side, straight connections on the lower side. It has safe transfer of liquid media within a closed system. Highly versatile, because the screw cap is based on the standard GL 45 thread. Optional filter attachment for sterile pressure equalisation available.

A connection to the bottle bottom can be made with the aid of the hose connections on the underside of the distributing body and tubing of suitable length. The grey PP core moves freely and allows the vessel to be changed over without twisting of the firmly attached tubing.
