Creatinine reagent is used for the quantitative determination of creatinine in serum
Hitachi Creatinine reagent (739 total mL)is used on the Hitachi 917 analyzer only and is for in vitro diagnostic use only. Creatinine reacts with picric acid in alkaline conditions to form a color complex that absorbs at 510 nm. The rate of formation of color is proportional to the creatinine in the sample. There are (9) 67 mL bottles of R1 Reagent and (9) 17 mL bottles of R2 reagent in the 739 total mL kit.
The 1340 total mL kit is used on Hitachi 717, 911, 912, and 914 analyzers. For the quantitative determination of creatinine in serum on Hitachi analyzers. For in vitro diagnostic use only. Creatinine reacts with picric acid in alkaline conditions to form a color complex that absorbs at 510 nm. The rate of formation of color is proportional to the creatinine in the sample. There are (11) 100 mL bottles of R1 Reagent and (3) 80 mL bottles of R2 Reagent in this kit.
