A propos de cet article

The Pederson Open-Sided Vaginal Speculum is a gynecological instrument used for performing pelvic examinations, pap Smears, and examining the cervix.

  • Made of stainless steel

It is a double blade duckbill speculum inserted with the blades closed. The external lever and screw helps to open the blades. This speculum features an open side which allows improved visibility and more room for supplemental instrument access. The blades of pederson speculum are more narrow than the blades of the graves speculum. The practitioner can best determine which type and size speculum is most appropriate for the patient.
