Protein gene product 9.5 (PGP9.5) is a member of a gene family whose products hydrolyze small C-terminal adducts of ubiquitin to generate the ubiquitin monomer. Expression of PGP9.5 is highly specific to neurons and to cells of the diffuse neuroendocrine system and their tumors. It is present in all neurons.
IF: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IHC-P: 1/25 - 1/50. Retrieve antigens with 70% Formic acid for 10-30 minutes at room temperature before commencing with IHC staining protocol. We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
