Anti-ACT1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ACT1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Genetex

The two major cytoskeletal proteins implicated in cell motility are actin and myosin. Actin and myosin are constituents of many cell types and are involved in a myriad of cellular processes including locomotion, secretion, cytoplasmic streaming, phagocytosis and cytokinesis. Although actin is one of the most conserved eukaryotic proteins, it is expressed in mammals and birds as at least six isoforms characterized by electrophoresis and amino acid sequence analysis. Four of them represent the differentiation markers of muscle tissues and two are found in practically all cells.

Anti-ACTB Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ACTB Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Beta-actin Antibody: Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in cell motility, structure and integrity, processes that are crucial for tissue development and the development of organism. The actin cytoskeleton is one of the principal drivers of cell motility and is capable of responding to complex signaling cascades. Recent evidence suggests that it may play key roles in regulating apoptosis and aging. Beta actin is one of six different actin isoforms which have been identified. Like GAPDH, beta-actin is constitutively expressed at high levels in almost all tissues and cell lines making it ideal for use as a loading control marker in immunoblots.

Anti-PDPN Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

M2A(D2-40) antigen is a previously identified marker for CIS and seminoma. M2A (D2-40) antigen has been identical to PDPN.. PDPN, also named as GP36, Gp38, GP40, HT1A-1, OTS8, PA2.26, T1A and T1A-2, has a function in developing testis, most likely at the level of cell-cell interactions among pre-meiotic germ cells and immature Sertoli cells. It may be involved in cell migration and/or actin cytoskeleton organization. When expressed in keratinocytes, PDPN induces changes in cell morphology with transfected cells showing an elongated shape, numerous membrane protrusions, major reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton, increased motility and decreased cell adhesion. It is required for normal lung cell proliferation and alveolus formation at birth. PDPN induces platelet aggregation. It does not have any effect on folic acid or amino acid transport and does not function as a water channel or as a regulator of aquaporin-type water channels. The antibody is special to PDPN.

Anti-Cofilin Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 1G6A2]

Anti-Cofilin Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 1G6A2]

Supplier: Proteintech

Cofilin is a ubiquitous actin-binding protein required for the reorganization of actin filaments. It is a member of ADF (actin-depolymerizing factor)/cofilin family that is a key regulator of actin dynamics and essential for cellular motility, cytokinesis, and endocytosis. Cofilin activity is tightly regulated by phosphorylation and dephosphorylation. Phosphorylation at Ser3 can inhibit its activity, also causing translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm.

Anti-ACTL6A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ACTL6A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

Actin-like 6A (ACTL6A, synonyms: ACTL6, BAF53A, MGC5382) is a family member of actin-related proteins (ARPs), which share significant amino acid sequence identity to conventional actins. Both actins and ARPs have an actin fold, which is an ATP-binding cleft, as a common feature. The ARPs are involved in diverse cellular processes, including vesicular transport, spindle orientation, nuclear migration and chromatin remodeling. ACTL6A is a 53 kDa subunit protein of the BAF (BRG1/brm-associated factor) complex in mammals, which is functionally related to SWI/SNF complex in S. cerevisiae and Drosophila; the latter is thought to facilitate transcriptional activation of specific genes by antagonizing chromatin-mediated transcriptional repression. Together with beta-actin, it is required for maximal ATPase activity of BRG1, and for the association of the BAF complex with chromatin/matrix.

Beta actin, also named as ACTB and F-Actin, belongs to the actin family. Actins are highly conserved globular proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells. At least six isoforms of actins are known in mammals and other vertebrates: alpha (ACTC1, cardiac muscle 1), alpha 1 (ACTA1, skeletal muscle) and 2 (ACTA2, aortic smooth muscle), beta (ACTB), gamma 1 (ACTG1) and 2 (ACTG2, enteric smooth muscle). Beta and gamma 1 are two non-muscle actin proteins. Most actins consist of 376aa, while ACTG2 (rich in muscles) has 375aa and ACTG1(found in non-muscle cells) has only 374aa. Beta actin has been widely used as the internal control in RT-PCR and Western Blotting as a 42-kDa protein. This antibody can recognize all the actins.

TPM2, also named as TMSB, belongs to the tropomyosin family. It binds to actin filaments in muscle and non-muscle cells. TPM2 plays a central role, in association with the troponin complex, in the calcium dependent regulation of vertebrate striated muscle contraction. In non-piamuscle cells, TPM2 is implicated in stabilizing cytoskeleton actin filaments. Defects in TPM2 are the cause of nemaline myopathy type 4 (NEM4) and distal arthrogryposis type 1 (DA1).

Human;Mouse;Rat Recombinant Thymosin-beta4 (from E. coli)

Supplier: Peprotech

Thymosin-β4 is a small, actin-sequestering protein belonging to the thymosin-β family that is found at high concentrations within the spleen, thymus, and peritoneal macrophages, where it is most notably responsible for the organization of cytoskeletal structure. In mammalian tissues, this protein acts as a modulator for the polymerization/depolymerization of actin through the formation of a 1:1 complex with the monomer G (globular)-actin, and inhibits actin’s polymerization to form F (filamentous) actin, which together with other proteins binds microfilaments to construct the cytoskeleton. Commonly found at significant quantities within the brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, testes, and heart, Thymosin-β4 has also been shown to be synthesized by cells unrelated to the reticuloendothelial system, such as myoblasts and fibroblasts, and expressed at irregular levels by several hemopoietic cell lines, malignant lymphoid cells and myeloma cells. In addition to regulating actin polymerization, research has also found Thymosin-β4 to stimulate the secretion of hypothalamic luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone and luteinizing hormone, inhibit the migration of peritoneal macrophages, induce phenotypic changes in T cell lines during early host defense mechanisms, and inhibit the progression of hematopoietic pluripotent stem cells into the s-phase. Recombinant Human/Murine/Rat Thymosin-β4 is a 5.2 kDa glycoprotein containing 45 amino acid residues.

Anti-KRAP, SSFA2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-KRAP, SSFA2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

KRAP (Ki-ras-induced actin-interacting protein), also known as SSFA2, CS1 or SPAG13, is a 1,259 amino acid cytoplasmic protein associated with filamentous-actin (F-actin). KRAP is strongly expressed in pancreas and testis. It is also present in colon cancer cell lines, and the expression is up-regulated by activated K-Ras. KRAP-deficient (KO) mice display decreased adiposity and improved glucose metabolism, implicating KRAP as a potential target for the prevention or treatment of obesity and related diseases. KRAP has also been suggested to be a potential target for cancer. This antibody recognizes endogenous KRAP, which migrates with an apparent molecular mass of 180 kDa in SDS-PAGE.
